On the morning of Saturday, September 30, a meeting was organized inside the simulation center at the University Medical Center for faculty members in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine at the Libyan International University of Medical Sciences. The meeting discussed a number of important issues related to methods of teaching university students and exams, emphasizing that the student is the focus of the educational process and that the goal is to graduate competent doctors.
The visit also included a workshop and training for the department by the center’s educational supervisors on using the mannequin (Lucy), which is used to simulate obstetrics and gynecology, and how to use it and benefit from it to teach students. This training included a theoretical explanation and presentation of a video clip, then a detailed explanation and application.
